Summit Challenge
Situated along part of the legendary Route des Grandes Alpes, Arêches-Beaufort has equipped itself with new generation cycling performance monitoring (vélodateur). Special posts situated at Beaufort and Cormet mean that cyclists can time their ascent to the Cormet de Roselend by means of a magnetic number. Once they have recovered, cyclists can then log on to a dedicated website and compare their times with those of others who have attempted the climb.
