Why we’re pleased to work with...

We’re totally independent (and will remain so) but from time to time the team is fortunate in having practical support from a select group of industry professionals.

For some time now we’ve been particularly impressed by ski tour-operator Peak Retreats and its subsidiary company Ski Collection. Each is run by hugely experienced travel professionals who apply all their respective insight and enthusiasm for their native France to providing skiers and summer visitors with award-winning service, rigorous quality control and great value holidays. For our part, experiencing ski areas and accommodation exactly as other visitors would do so enables us to produce meaningful resort reviews which are relevant to our readers’ own need for the kind of insight which goes beyond what a promotional brochure can provide.

Ski Collection - Dedicated Commitment to French Skiing

Ski Collection is part of Peak Retreats, an award winning friendly, independent niche tour operator giving British skiers the opportunity to experience skiing in France the French way. Ski Collection offers skiers a choice of handpicked 3- and 4-star self-catering ski apartments in high-altitude resorts designed with skiing in mind. They feature leading, snowsure resorts such as Les Arcs, La Plagne, Tignes, Flaine, La Rosière, 3 Vallées, Arc 1950, Val d'Isère, Avoriaz, Isola 2000....

Value for Money

Also included is the Ski Classic Collection offering quality hand-picked accommodation in resorts which you might consider to be ‘off the beaten track’, whether in the Southern Alps or the picturesque Pyrenees. Rarely offered on the British market, they are very underrated and represent excellent value for money - in other words, the kind of experience which you would normally get from larger resorts but at lower prices. The range includes resorts in the Alps such as Chamrousse, La Toussuire, Puy St Vincent, and Les Orres, plus resorts in the French Pyrénées such as St Lary, Cauterets and Font Romeu.

Self-drive Packages or Accommodation Only

All the self-drive packages now include a return Eurotunnel crossing with free FlexiPlus upgrade. For independent travellers they also offer accommodation-only bookings. Maintaining their policy for exceptional customer care, they will endeavour to tailor your perfect ski holiday in the Northern Alps, the Southern Alps and the French Pyrenees; from accommodation-only to added value package deals including travel options, ski packs, insurance & spa treatments.

Holidays booked with Ski Collection are fully protected with ABTA.
